Job Description: Assistant/Associate Professor – Biomedical Engineering

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking dynamic, research-driven academicians to join the Department of Biomedical Engineering. We invite scholars with a distinguished academic background from IITs or NITs to contribute to our mission of excellence in teaching, innovative research, and industrial collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction for undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the Biomedical Engineering curriculum.
Research & Publication: Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in top-tier SCI/Scopus-indexed journals, and actively pursue external research grants.
Student Mentorship: Supervise PhD and Master’s students, and provide guidance on research projects and career development.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the design and enhancement of the Biomedical Engineering syllabus to ensure alignment with industry standards.
Institutional Service: Actively participate in departmental committees, faculty meetings, and university accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC).
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education: PhD in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related discipline. All qualifying degrees (Bachelors, Masters, and PhD) must be from IITs or NITs.
Experience:
Assistant Professor: Prior teaching or research experience is highly desirable.
Associate Professor: A minimum of 3 years of post-PhD teaching or research experience in a reputed higher education institution.
