AI Engineer (GenAI, RAG, Recommendations and Predictive Analytics) – Noida – On-site – Full Time
We are hiring an AI Engineer for an AI-first D2C ecommerce marketplace based in Noida (on-site, Monday to Friday). You will build production AI/ML systems across the storefront and the CRM: product recommendations and personalization, semantic search and ranking, LLM-powered shopping assistants, RAG over product catalogs and reviews, and demand, inventory and sales forecasting. This is a ground-up build with direct ownership of AI features that move revenue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer-Facing AI
- Build product recommendation and personalization systems for the marketplace
- Improve product search with semantic search, ranking and retrieval
- Build LLM-powered shopping assistants and product question answering
- Develop RAG systems over product catalogs, attributes, reviews and business data
- Build AI systems for product classification, tagging and catalog enrichment
CRM and Business AI
- Build inventory projection and demand forecasting systems
- Develop sales forecasting and predictive models
- Predict stock-outs and overstock, and identify slow-moving products
- Build customer segmentation, churn and behavioral models
- Develop AI-powered CRM insights, recommendations and workflows
AI Engineering
- Design, build, evaluate and deploy AI/ML systems in production
- Build APIs and services that integrate AI with the marketplace and CRM
- Monitor and improve accuracy, latency, cost and business impact
- Partner with product and engineering to identify AI-solvable business problems
- Define the data needed to train and improve AI systems
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
- 2+ years building and shipping AI/ML systems in production
- Strong Python and solid machine learning fundamentals
- Hands-on with LLMs and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar)
- RAG, embeddings and vector search
- At least one vector database: Qdrant, pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate or FAISS
- Recommendations, personalization, search, ranking or retrieval
- Predictive modeling or forecasting
- Strong SQL and data-processing skills
- Building REST APIs and production services
- Working knowledge of Git and Docker
- Ability to translate business problems into practical AI/ML solutions
PREFERRED / BONUS SKILLS
- FastAPI
- PyTorch or TensorFlow
- scikit-learn, NumPy and Pandas
- Agentic AI and tool calling
- AI/ML evaluation and A/B testing
- AWS or other cloud platforms
- AI/ML deployment and monitoring (MLOps)
PREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
- E-commerce, D2C, fashion, beauty, retail, CRM or consumer products
- Working with product catalogs, customer behavior, reviews, inventory or transaction data
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering preferred
- Strong practical experience can compensate for a different educational background
SOFT SKILLS
- Business-first thinking: you pick the model that moves the metric, not the one that looks impressive
- Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage ownership
- Clear communication with product, engineering and business stakeholders
TOOLS YOU WILL USE

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are not looking for someone who only builds chatbots or wires an LLM to a vector database. We want an engineer who can apply AI end to end across two chains: customer to product to search to recommendation to personalization to LLM, and customer to sales to inventory to forecasting to CRM to business insights.
